You might not believe this, but it’s for health reason, that I enjoy my sport car.
One, it keeps my mind sharp, my reactions on point, and besides, the thrill I get when I’m on the road. It’s something that I would have never imagined. I drive for my health, at the fifty-plus, I have more vigor than I had at twenty-five. You might ask have you ever driven a large vehicle, just knowing of all a larger car or truck offers, the protection, king of the road, and the shear pleasure of looking over other drivers head. What doesn’t a large vehicle have in common? In the seventies, it was shear power, no health benefits, but technologies has changed, and the smaller compacts, coupes, European sport-cars give you more power, and better health benefits. The agility to move in and out of traffic, surely keeps the mind focus and alert. Could this be why pilots have a healthier mind at an older age? Uh, I wonder. I owned a big daddy truck, and it was fun. But as the saying goes, “It cost to be the boss.” Yes, the fun ended, after shoveling-out a hundred bucks or more at the pumps. Hey, gas has gotten cheaper, but not enough to get back in a gas-hog.
For now, I’ll zoom away in my sports-coupe. See you at the pumps next time.
Why I love my sports-coupe.
